Somerset Lesbian Network has been established by local women in order to provide opportunities for women to meet informally for networking and activities including outings, workshops, talks, discussion groups, walking, sports, arts, music, dance, drumming, information sharing and promoting health and wellbeing.

Last week president Obama gave an interview clearly supporting equal rights for same-sex marriage.
His statements are a huge contradiction to the daily negative messages we have from the media and politicians. Bearing in mind that Obama has not always been so outspoken in contentious issues recently his statement is even more powerful. He will now face a barrage of disapproval.
'All Out' are a group campaigning for gay rights and they have an online petition to show support for Obama's statement.
